Important Student Information
- You MUST have a completed I-9 submitted to the Office of Student Employment, Graduate Assistantships & Fellowships by your first day of employment. Section 1 of the I-9 form can be submitted through the Student Employment site (click here for instructions!).
- Supporting documentation MUST be presented to an Office of Student Employment, Graduate Assistantships & Fellowships representative to complete submission of the I-9 Form

- Students cannot work more than 20 hours a week while in classes. If you hold multiple positions on campus, you cannot exceed 20 hours per week while in classes with all positions combined.
- Work Study Positions
- It is your responsibility to monitor your Work Study balance to not exceed the amount you were allotted on your financial aid package.
- Notify your supervisor when your funds are running low.
- Schedule / plan your shifts accordingly.
- Work Study funds are allocated per semester - unearned funds do not roll over.
- Co-op (on campus and Work Study funded positions): You must have a Co-op placement sheet submitted prior to the start date of your Co-op position (preferably, once you’ve accepted the position or two weeks prior to your start date to ensure timely processing).

Direct Deposit form online
- Available on your myNortheastern portal, under the Services & Links page, in the Student Financial Services section
- Follow the instructions on the page to set up or modify your Direct Deposit
- Please refer to the FAQ on the Student Financial Services website for additional information
- If you already have Direct Deposit on file, you do not need to set up a new Direct Deposit. Direct Deposit stays active for one year from the last deposit transaction processed
Navigating the Student Employment Site
- Find A Job - Search for jobs both on- and off-campus.
- My Dashboard - Track the jobs you've applied for.
- My Jobs - View your job details, work study balance, and time sheets.
- Signup for JobMail - Create a search agent to inform you of new job postings.
- Contact Us - Send us your questions and feedback about this site.
- Access forms and Student Employment information on the Student Forms page.
